A few items I'd like to highlight
Paint & Pencil. I love pencils and a good pen. There's no replacing my Mac. It's an essential tool in this industry but when I'm working through ideas and concepts there's nothing like a pencil to put my thoughts down. It doesn't matter whether I'm developing a website or illustrating a children's book, paper & pencil will be involved at some point. Many designers work with text and imagery to create beautiful work, but when it comes to illustrating the concept and creating something new, there's a struggle. My ability to illustrate and design separates me and your product from the competition.
Vector Illustration. I have 18 years of experience with vector graphics. Using Adobe Illustrator allows an artist to create on an incredible digital canvas. It's an invaluable tool in the development of vector graphics. Now the great thing about vector graphics is that, because you're only dealing with points and lines, you can enlarge them without any loss of detail. This makes vector graphics great for logos, diagrams and a variety of other applications that might need to be output at different sizes. Plus, their file size is usually smaller in comparison.
